How is Hemp different from Marijuana?

While looking very similar and being from the same family of plants, the main difference of Hemp and Marijuana is their THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol) amounts. THC is the main psychoactive component of marijuana and what makes you feel high, in body & mind.

Hemp can legally only be sold if containing under 0.4% THC. Some strains of Marijuana can be as high as 30% THC. Hemp is mostly sought after for its higher CBD amounts - typically around 9-12% depending on the strain, while marijuana sits around 2% or less CBD.

Simply put, THC is what gets you high, CBD has more medicinal properties like “helping with seizure disorders (epilepsy), anxiety, pain, a muscle disorder called dystonia, and so many other conditions.” (-webMD).

What are our ratios?

Our most recent testing showed our Cherry Wine to have 26:1 ratio of CBD:THC with active THC at .36%

T1 has a ratio of 26:1 CBD:THC as well with active THC at .24%

When/How do you test?

We start testing our crops on the 5th week of the flowering stage, then we test each week until harvest. We’re happy to supply ALL testing analysis done on our ladies. When selective samples, we take a mix of top colas, middle, and lower to ensure accurate glimpses of their contents.
